For us, photography isn’t about perfect shots. It’s about laughter when the owl refuses to look up, awe when the tiger suddenly appears, or the quiet joy of watching flamingos turn a wetland pink. Iris View is our way of inviting you to share those moments with us — raw, real, and full of wonder.
Our work is rooted in patience, respect for the wild, and a deep curiosity about the everyday stories that unfold in natural habitats. From tigers in Central India to migratory birds along the wetlands, we seek not just to document species, but to evoke the emotion of being present in those moments.
Ruchira is the steady eye — she notices the little things: the flick of a tail, the way a bird tilts its head, the texture of a tree against the sky. She’ll happily wait for hours until the moment is just right.
Umang is the dreamer with the lens — chasing moods, chasing light. For him, it’s about how the forest feels: the glow of sunrise, the hush before a call, the sudden joy of wings against the setting sun.
Together, we balance each other — one rooted in detail, the other in feeling.
Iris View is our attempt to share those memories with you — not as outsiders looking in, but as two people deeply grateful for the wilderness that continues to hold us. Also, we hope to build a bridge between conservation and art — inspiring appreciation, dialogue, and action.
